Adrián studied a BSc. in Biomedical Sciences in Puebla (Mexico) followed by a MSc. in Computational Neurosciences at the ETH in Zürich (Switzerland). He joined the group as a PhD student in 2021. He studies the involvemt Spreading Depolarization in MTL epilepsy patients at seizure termination as well as the role of microseizures in ictal initiation.
